This dude, Herky the Hawk, is everywhere.

Note to self, you can do more stretching than you are currently doing. And, you don’t seem to have a good, logical reason for slacking.

Note: Stretching happens at least five days a week. It is minimal, which is better than no stretching. More stretching, like you’ve consistently done for the past 25 years, is where you ought to return to.

Walk

Six miles before 930am. It just happens. It’s not a goal, not the mileage. Walking is the goal. When it’s with Cheryl, like today, it’s better.

We walked six miles together.

Then i walked four more miles in the yard.

In case it isn’t obvious, walking is good exercise.

Also in case it isn’t obvious, movement is what our body is designed for.

If we were designed to sit, we’d probably be a rock.

Never tied the shoes.

Weidly, didn’t tie my shoes the previous 22 days in Glacier.

Not 10k, 10 miles.

That’s 16k.

No one cares, yet it is a 60% increase from a 10k.

It’s weird sometimes to realize the extra four miles is four miles more than most Americans walk daily.

Most Americans loath walking.

How often do people drive around looking to get a ‘good’ parking spot close to the thing?

Pro tip: Immediately drive to the parking lot’s perimeter, park, and walk a little extra.
