No One Will Remember The Risks We Took 90 Days Ago

Real Life In Real Time, January 1, 2012 (90 days ago)

Watching these young women play their hearts out on the soccer field during the holidays reminds me of a lesson learned long ago. Champions are made, not born. In athletics. In anything. Bank on it.

The long way is the short cut. And the most important skills the girls learn are not athletic. Never forget that.

Everyday Courage Has Few Witnesses

All Proof Destroyed?
All Proof Destroyed?

“Everyday courage has few witnesses. But yours is no less noble because no drum beats for you, and no crowds shout your name.” Robert Louis Stevenson

Maybe you believe in yourself, or maybe you don’t.

The more days that you go without quitting what you you really want to do, the stronger your belief will become.

There really is no other way to change.

You simply must have resolve. A goal is not enough.

You must want this for the rest of your life.

Remember, your everyday courage will have very few witnesses.

How’s that sound?

Lane 8 Succeeds Due to Failure

Lane 8 is successful because Lane 8 is a failure.

Huh?  Exactly.

I could try and explain it to you, but you already know what I’m talking about, don’t you?  If you are confused, this 30-second You Tube video should clear it up:

Fearing failure is a sure fire way to have success elude you.  Who wants that?

What’s Impossible?

“Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small people who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It’s not an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary… Impossible is nothing.” Adidas

“If your goal isn’t impossible, you’re not reaching high enough”.   – jeff noel

Good luck today with your health goals.  Set ’em high.  Carpe diem.
