What about a running goal?

Ran two miles without pain. Remarkable. This was 6 months ago before going to Glacier for the Summer. There was no running in Glacier.

What about a running goal?

The only running goal, currently, is to be able to run again.

Competing again is not a goal, but it is a dream.

There is something about aging athletes that is inspiring- as if to say, age means nothing.

Need Help Not Giving Up?

Whenever i start to feel sorry for myself

Whenever i start to feel sorry for myself i think of others who would love to have my “worries and concerns”.

Started doing vertical pull-ups last week.

Three sets of two.

For at least a year, i’ve not done pull-ups and a couple of months ago began doing horizontal pull-ups using ropes.

The long way is the short cut.

Note: It’s safe to assume that eliminating a lifelong exercise (pull-ups) is due to injury and pain.
