Never intended to run a half-marathon yesterday.

But am no longer surprised at logging three miles of warmup before the actual track workout. And three miles of cool down is also no longer a surprise.

Just warming up and cooling down is farther than i ran between 1999 Р2014. Retirement blew things up.

Simply running enough 400-meter intervals, with a 400-meter walk between each can cover six miles, if you do 12 x 400-meters.

Two weeks into track work and the times are coming down. Slow and steady.
