What is lovely about being human is that we can create or consume our life.

One person directs their (food) choices, another is consumed by their choices.

Creating this post reminds me that many foods are natural, tasty, and nutritious.

Last night. Our honeymoon was a multi-week bicycle trip across Washington State. We bought this dining set soon after. So long ago that these are neither dishwasher safe nor microwaveable safe.

What foods have you let go of?

Good.

Eventually we learn there are many old things that no longer serve us well.

Easy access to grocery store

June 4, 2019…yesterday. Welcome note with a few gourmet chocolate treats. (Of course, i didn’t eat them)
Madrid public bike rentals. Mobike is a Japanese company.

Easy access to grocery store, less than a block away.

Whole fruit, especially apples, as well as bottled water are two key travel essentials. Nuts and protein bars are packed from Orlando.

Discovered Mobike on the walk back.

Went for an hour ride last night to Madrid’s version of New York’s Central Park.

There are many food choices. Learn the super foods and eat them abundantly.

Create a system so you have the food you eat regularly readily available at home.

Conquer stress triggers as well as the desire to eat poorly when stressed. Make your decision making easy so you do not eat when under pressure.

Eat fresh. The fewer ingredients the better. Ideally five or less ingredients.

Move like you mean it.

Decide if you believe your body is the temple housing everything keeping you alive. Then let your decisions prove it.
