Still Reflecting

Not a day goes by that the fond memories of Lahti, Finland don’t find a conscious place in my thoughts.

Without going into too much detail today, this event has changed my life.

Not in some major, 180 or 360 degree way.  But in a multitude of subtle ways.

Uploading You Tube videos is more time consuming than you might think.  Yet each time I do, there is a distinct memory – and key learning – with each.

When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.

There is something to be said for being self-taught.  For starters, you have 24/7, 365 access to the instructor.  How cool is that?

USATF CEO Doug Logan’s Blog

USATF CEO Doug Logan has a blog called Shin Splints.

Over the weekend, I watched several hours of the US Outdoor National Championships.

There were some great races, in both men’s and women’s events.  No world records.

But overall, these athletes performed well, in qualifying for the World Championships in Berlin, later this year.

The main point I wanted to make is that Doug Logan, the CEO of USATF, has a blog.

Do you have a blog?

OK, do you have a cell phone?  A computer?  A postal mailbox?

Ya with me?

Blogs are free and fairly easy, like anything else, once you practice.

I should know, I have five that I write in every single day.

Obsessive?  Compulsive?  Focused?  Disciplined?

Probably a little bit of “all of the above”.

A little hard to believe?

  4. jeff noel.org
  5. jeff noel.com

Also:

  1. LinkedIn
  2. Facebook
  3. You Tube
  4. Twitter

There, I said it.  I’m an over-achiever.  🙂

Like I always say, “I’d rather try and fail, than not try at all”.
