Yes, accept that there’s a lot of work to get and remain vibrantly healthy. Same with poor health, just a different kind of work.

 

Some raise an eyebrow when i tell them i “work” 7 days a week to have a balanced life.

Imagine if what you do didn’t feel like work?

Now both eyebrows are raised.

Right?

You’re the CEO of You, Inc.

Figure it out.

Regular exercise (cardio and strength).

Balanced nutrition.

Adequate rest.

Become proficient there then move on to flexibility, core, and motivation.

This morning…weight/hours slept: 157.5/7.0

Felt like going longer, but out of time.

 

Grateful to get 40 minutes to run. Didn’t make time for a gym workout. Hotel gyms are usually inadequate if you aren’t doing cardio (and i wasn’t). So, 50% is sometimes acceptable…

But when it comes to leadership, 100% is the only acceptable standard.

Of course it’s difficult and this will never change. Better to accept it and live with the never-ending effort required to get and stay healthy than deny it and live with that.
