Healthy habits. Habits are everyday occurrences. Reach for fruit or reach for candy or chips? Habits, no?

How much is enough?

How much what?

How much aerobic, anaerobic, nutrition, rest, core, flexibility, and motivation is the right amount for you?

The great news is this is your call.

The challenge, like everything in life, is how to balance time, energy, resources, money, and habits.

Insight: We reap what we sow. Habits and rituals feed personal vibrancy or they keep you from personal vibrancy.

To others observing a physically vibrant person, it looks like it must be Magic (or genetics).

The physically vibrant person understands the seven architectural blueprints, practices them daily, and consistently benefits from the fruits of the Magic labor.

My favorite people in the gym are the ones who feel like they don’t belong there.

Why?

Because of the courage i know they had to summon simply to walk in the front door and try.

The looks, the stares, the mumblings under the breath from gym rats.

i generally tell these brave people who look like they don’t belong that they inspire me and that i hope to see them here a year from now.

They are 100+ years old and talk like they are 17.

One, two, or both.

As we age, it’s common for our minds to stay sharp – as if we were teens – with little conscious effort.

As we age, our body doesn’t preserve itself similarly. The best we can do is to work hard to slow the decline of our physical strength, endurance, flexibility, and core. This is influenced by what we eat, how we sleep, and most importantly, by our tireless, daily motivation.

There are exceptionally fit older humans. You can be one of them too. i am.

Can you guess who they blame?

It ain’t the Magic that makes it work, it’s the work that makes it Magic. Shot six videos and the client will pick only one.

 

No unfit person resolves to go to the gym the first week of January and becomes incredibly fit in a couple months.

Yet.

Yet in their dreams, they hope and think “this time i mean business” and I’m going to transform myself.

Being well is more involved than simply becoming physically active.

You have to also change your habits with sleep, eating, flexibility, core, and motivation – this assumes you are getting adequate strength and cardio from your gym visits.

And because everything needs to change, hopeful gym members are almost guaranteed to fail.

Can you guess who they blame?
