Dr. jeff

GNP.

My doctor gave me a prescription. He said i need to take it for the rest of my life. He said, “You need to lead an active and well-balanced life if you want to remain healthy.” That doctor is me.

Final 120 Days

An apple a day keeps the doctor away

jeff noel disney speakers
A lunchtime photo. Was intentional to get the palm tree in.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away.

Does it?

My friend Dennis says things only become sayings or cliches if they are true.

To me, an apple is nature’s tooth brush. Carrots also work well.

Maybe oral health is what keeps the doctor away.

Is there a Doctor anywhere in the world

Disney nature
Yesterday morning about 6:45AM, near Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, and my home.

Is there a Doctor anywhere in the world who wouldn’t recommend regular exercise, a balanced diet, and adequate rest?

How’s that serving you this year?

It’s often challenging to schedule medical checkups due to busy schedules or simply because we have an insidious habit of focusing on urgency rather than importance.

Live like you mean it means taking regular risks, escaping our comfort zone.

Driving home from Gold’s gym yesterday made a spontaneous decision one block before missing the opportunity to turn right to see Dr Wagner, unscheduled.

Otherwise, it could end up being December and going, uh oh.

One Question A Day?

How reliable are we at taking the pills our doctor prescribes?

Canisius College versus Niagara soccer game at MAAC finals
Collegiate athletics hire, and travel with, an athletic trainer to help people stay healthy

How reliable are we at taking the pills our doctor prescribes? Mostly, we are incredibly successful.

Has anyone’s doctor ever prescribed a sensible diet and regular exercise. Mostly. Right?

Far too many of us fail the minute we leave the office.

How is this possible?

The need to get to the gym felt compelling, yet awkward.

It’s been six days since the last gym visit, and an International trip in three days is looming.

Bottom line: doctor’s orders.
