An apple a day keeps the doctor away

A lunchtime photo. Was intentional to get the palm tree in.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away.

Does it?

My friend Dennis says things only become sayings or cliches if they are true.

Maybe oral health is what keeps the doctor away.

Driving home from Gold’s gym yesterday made a spontaneous decision one block before missing the opportunity to turn right to see Dr Wagner, unscheduled.

Otherwise, it could end up being December and going, uh oh.

How reliable are we at taking the pills our doctor prescribes? Mostly, we are incredibly successful.

Has anyone’s doctor ever prescribed a sensible diet and regular exercise. Mostly. Right?

Far too many of us fail the minute we leave the office.

How is this possible?

The need to get to the gym felt compelling, yet awkward.

It’s been six days since the last gym visit, and an International trip in three days is looming.

Bottom line: doctor’s orders.
