Thank God for exercise

Jim Thorpe
Jim Thorpe, considered by some as the world’s greatest athlete.

Thank God for exercise.

In a matter of hours today, notified that three relatives are either having emergency procedures today or tomorrow, or will likely have one by week’s end.

All are 60+.

Two are married. To each other.

None of them exercise.

None of them have ever exercised.

Thank you God, for the desire to exercise.

Ps. The reasons for the irrepressible desire to exercise are self-evident.

Organize your fight to improve

Traveling light
GNP. All of this fit into a small backpack…half the size of normal travel backpacks. It was the only thing i carried for an 11-day trip with 30-degree weather fluctuations.

No, when the fight begins within himself a man’s worth something.

Having and not having are equal?

Feynman quote
Yes and, do you expect to be healthy, because i expect you to be healthy.

Is not wanting something as satisfying as having it?

Not wanting it is like having it.

For example, chocolate. Having no desire for chocolate is satisfying. Eating chocolate also satisfies. The desire is quenched either way.

Satisfying.

No?

Except maybe, for example, not wanting personally vibrant health.

The key to motivation is belief

102 year old sprinter
Second from right, 102-year-old sprinter.

The key to motivation is belief.

Don’t believe it?

Look in your “past-history” mirror.

Your greatest, most meaningful accomplishments, how critical was your motivation?

How critical was your desire to achieve your goal?

Where there not numerous small, medium, and large obstacles?

What led you to overcome them all?

i rest my case your Honor.
