Worth a second look?

An adult knows strength, cardio, rest, nutrition, flexibility, core, and motivation are key to physical vibrancy. And if you pair high common sense with high action, you get wellness (aka physical vibrancy).

Common sense is not as common as it could be – nor as it should be.

Why?

Insidious distraction boasts high activity, but little to no common sense; plenty busy enough, but not focused on highest priorities.

Summarized differently, if you really want to/need to get real with yourself:

To know is to do. To know and not do is to not yet know.

What if this was your street?

traffic
iPhone lens was foggy.

traffic
Wiped the condensation away.

traffic
One more angle. No way a car can pass, let alone another delivery truck, say UPS or FedEx.

Returning from a three-hour workout, i rounded the last turn home to see my street completely blocked.

i was on a bicycle, so no big deal.

The only option for my neighbors would be to drive through someone’s yard to pass. Or they could wait for the furniture delivery truck to finish.

The solution for the driver is to park 30 feet further down the street.

Reminds me how obvious getting regular exercise is, yet few make the choice.

What say you?

Common sense but not common.

The sovereign invigorator of the body is exercise, and of all exercises walking is best. Habituate yourself to walk very far.  – Thomas Jefferson

We use humor to mask our pain from giving up.

To get back to my youth, I would do anything in the world,
except take exercise, get up early or be respectable.  – Oscar Wilde

The best time to start exercising was 30 years ago. The second best time is today.
