Can’t wait for alarm to go off

Is 2019 a special year for you?

Last night, tired (okay, really tired), i was thinking about how much i can’t wait to do a normal gym routine this morning.

The 37 days in Glacier so far this Summer have given me an unnecessary break, and a deep appreciation for being able to spend two hours every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday walking to and from the gym, as well as spending an hour in the gym.

Health is wealth

Health is wealth.

Maximize your dining hall’s excellent food choices.

Maximize the wellness facility across the street from your dorm.

Maximize the open space in the freshman quad (and all over campus).

Do your best to get a normalized sleep schedule that you feel good about.

You can become a morning person later.

This big muscle grows flabby with disuse

This one is easier.

This big muscle grows flabby with disuse.

Which?

Our “creative” muscle (brain), like every physical muscle simply atrophies with disuse.

Working on simplifying my business model, structure, processes, particularly around marketing.

This is an exercise that is done simultaneously while doing everything else an active lifestyle offers.

The physical exercise to get to this spot and back totaled 4.5 miles and 1,400’ elevation gain. And then there’s the view. Try to not be creative. Impossible.

How often do you look up?

Early afternoon yesterday, the radiant glow caught my consciousness.

How often do you look up?

What?

At the sky, how often do you look up at it?

How often do you say thank you to yourself for being 110% committed to personal health and wellness?

Obviously invisible

This neglect didn’t happen with the flip of a switch.

Obviously invisible, right?

The picnic table’s decline took years and happened before our very eyes, but we never noticed.

Every day we don’t make healthy choices makes it easier for tomorrow to be more of the same.
