Can’t stay motivated or won’t stay motivated?

jeff noel note to self
The note says, the biggest obstacle to thriving is arriving. It was meant in the context of professional achievement not physical vibrancy, but that’s how it’s intended here.

Can’t stay motivated or won’t stay motivated?

Find a million ways to stay motivated.

There’s no end to your creative methods, that is, until you decide you won’t keep trying.

Can’t lift heavy things or won’t?

Finished this movie recently. Not sure why i took the photo, unless it illustrates that the end begins when we stop taking care of ourselves physically.

Can’t lift heavy things or won’t?

We all have the same answer.

Won’t.

We all say, “Won’t”, even if we don’t say it.

We say it with our inaction.

(Of course there are exceptions. Do you have arms and can you move them? Ok, so you are not an exception.)

  • Leg curls:
  • Yesterday: 2×10/70,80 2×6/90
  • 1 year ago: 3×10/60,70,70
  • 2 years ago: 3×10/30,40,50

Pro tip: Measure what you do, because you cannot improve what you do not measure.

Can’t do core or won’t do core?

Mountain Goats
We took the path less chosen. Working diligently on core is a path less taken.

Can’t do core or won’t do core?

Core exercises are challenging because, generally speaking, we are starting from a weak spot and progress seems impossible because our core is in fact impossibly weak.

Here’s a little secret about core.

Core responds nicely and graciously when you stay with it in a slow and steady fashion.

Eventually, your core is remarkably strong.

Such a wonderful gift you give yourself.

Can’t stretch or won’t stretch?

What lies ahead in life is more effectively managed when we are flexible, figuratively and physically.

Can’t stretch or won’t stretch?

Not enough time?

Too tired?

Don’t know how?

Progress takes too long?

These are all excuses for won’t.

None of those excuses defines can’t.

Tell me again, you can’t work on your flexibility or you won’t work on your flexibility?

Thank you for picking the blinding flash of the obvious – you consistently tend to your flexibility.

Can’t sleep or won’t sleep?

Hey, there’s Joy from Disney Pixar’s Inside Out movie.

Got physical joy?

Yes?

In part, for sure, because you make sleep a priority.

Does your physical wellness bring you joy? That’s what this post means.
