How’s our motivation? What would we say to that right now?
We lose our edge to stay motivated without these three things:
- an impossible goal
- (ongoing) compelling short term goals to reach the first goal
- the creativity to turn a negative into a positive
Back last night from a road trip. One of the most taxing weeks in a long time. Exercise was minimal.
Five days in a hotel netted only two treadmill runs (not a treadmill fan):
- 2-miles at 10-minute mile pace (pedestrian for me)
- 4-miles, including a 6-minute mile (sweet!)
Does this example mean anything to us?
