Early is on time and yields decent benefits

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort Lobby
i remember when a Front Desk Cast Member had the idea to experiment with this concept; a children’s only waiting area with themed seating and Disney movies playing.

Give anxious children a place to be delightfully distracted until the adults check in and get the room keys. Original area is next to Front Desk (in background).

It was so successful, a second child area was created.

Here you can see them both.

To arrive on time (10 minutes early is the standard) for a 7am meeting, i cancelled my morning exercise. It happens.

Arriving 15 minutes early allowed me to talk to a friend and Cast Member (with 41 years at Walt Disney World). Shafe (that’s his real name) and i worked together at three Disney Resort properties: Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.

The break from exercise was also welcomed because of an exceptionally long day of gardening the day before.
