Is the obesity crisis hiding a bigger, hidden problem?

Once in a while we stumble upon something truly remarkable.

Long standing traditional medical beliefs coupled with an intelligent, and authentic (doctor) presenter.

I know how busy everyone is (me too)… yet this 16-minute TED MED video is captivating on three deep levels:

  1. challenging medical ‘certainty’
  2. as a remarkable presenter
  3. as an authentic human being

This message humbles me.

Note: Further investigation led me to the comment thread from this TED MED video. Some folks thought completely differently than me – as if Peter was scamming. And I must say, his claim of exercising hard four hours a day with a day job is questionable (not impossible, but it did sound too good to be true).

Very interesting. I have always believed that “for some”, obesity is not just because of over-eating.

Donna, this was important (imho) to share, not because it was about obesity (an obviously important subject), but because of the three reasons listed in the post.

If we all think alike, we stand still.

Standing still generally is not a great evolutionary move.
