All downhill from here

Context: Descending isn’t taxing cardiovascularly, but it requires (and taxes) an entirely different muscle group than normal daily activity.

Hiking four miles downhill with a 2,350-foot elevation descent is a great workout.

Not many places where this is easily achievable, however, yesterday morning we found ourselves in a perfect position to do it.
