While our trip’s walking mileage has changed dramatically because we are recovering from the Highline Trail hike, we are still active.

We spent nearly three hours in a car yesterday crossing the border.

Our bodies have rested from a lack of hiking.

Rather than feel guilty or disappointed, we simply adapted to the hand we’ve been dealt.
