Greater than kindness?

Fall hiking in Glacier
Hiking through Glacier National Park as a 60-year old is something i take for granted because i never see 60 as a thing that limits people, but people tell me i’m wrong.

How well do you practice kindness?

There is no greater wisdom than kindness.

Or is there?

What about physical health as the greatest wisdom?

Maybe decent physical health is the greatest wisdom we can practice.

So many people benefit from a person’s physical wellbeing. Obviously the healthy person, but also the potential care giver(s) and financial resources that are protected from healthcare services.

Want some cheese with that whine?

#mytruth

Want some cheese with that whine?

Have an invitation to be a Disney podcast guest in two days. The challenge is it starts at 8:00 PM.

Dude, seriously?

Remember the preaching about not conforming to fit in?

Who should give?

Would my answer be different if Tim Ferriss invited me on his show?

Totally.

Kidding.

Questions like these almost always start with, “It depends.”

Do not hit snooze

iPhone clock
i do not always get eight hours of sleep. But i always have it as the goal and always strive to achieve it daily.

Do not hit the snooze button.

Why?

Staying in bed past the time you wanted to wake up is an insidiously unproductive habit. It masks a deeper root cause.

It is a habit fed by a lack of important life elements:

  • Sleep
  • Purpose
  • Motivation

To live a life void of these three elements seems careless and criminal.

The worst excuse

The common dangers of life are conformity, apathy, and lack of clarity.
Philadelphia’s tomb of the unknown soldier. Bottom right on the ground is a constantly burning torch.
We make one of two choices regarding personal wellness motivation: our flame burns brightly or it goes out for good.

The worst excuse?

It takes too long.

So if this is our reason for not starting a consistent personal wellness program, imagine what happens down the road because we never started.

Then imagine down the road had we begun and stayed with it.

The customer service gurus unintentionally lied to us

florida pool
March 31, in the pool three days ago, recording a couple short “business” videos.

The customer service gurus unintentionally lied to us. They didn’t know any better. And this “lie” has been perpetuated since the invention of the “service economy”.

Preparing a TEDx Talk that covers this and solves it too – essentially celebrating a new customer service mantra.
