Supplement our happiness with LSD? Yes, Long Slow Distance. After missing five running days (two planned, three unplanned), got a five-miler in this morning.

Long, slow, distance. Nice and easy. A good 45 minutes of continuous running. The focus is:

  • not quitting
  • building strong cardiovascular base
  • maintaining core strength
  • getting back to 15 minutes daily stretching each evening
  • running some really good times this Spring and Summer

Hard to say. Seems so. Doesn’t it? We won’t win any awards for healthiest Country. Not anytime soon.

On today of all days, the question we might ask is an obvious one:

What do I plan to do about this starting tomorrow?

May all our dreams come true, and may we be prepared to stir things up with ourselves.
