This could be the most deceptive, and despicable, form of codependency ever. What if we exercised regularly, ate right, and rested well – no matter what others did?

Okay, so we all agree that there’s a serious childhood obesity challenge. Childhood obesity has more than tripled in the past 30 years:

  • 6-11 year olds: from 7% in 1980 to nearly 20% in 2008
  • 12-19 year olds: from 5% to to 18% same time frame
  • in 2008, more than 1/3 of your 6-19 are overweight or obese

How important is having a goal? Oh my gosh, this is such a ridiculous question! No professional would ever say it’s stupid to have important goals. Yet, to my sense of observation, most people walk around like exercise, healthy eating, rest, and overall wellness are chores to be avoided and shunned, not a “professional” responsibility.
