Failing at a ridiculously high goal will fill us with the peace of wasting nothing.

Life’s first two big choices covered for today, now the third big choice gets it’s shot here.

Floundering is easy without a serious goal and a deadline

motivation

you should watch your motivation like a hawk, lest you become a victim

Floundering is easy without a serious goal and a deadline. As someone who’s struggled like everyone else and constantly tempted by the same worn out excuses… experience reveals a harsh reality:

Boomers trying to regain something they’ve abanoned

Greatness isn’t a gift reserved for a chosen few… superstars…

greatness

Greatness is no more unique to us than breathing… we’re all capable of it. All of us…

male Baby Boomers

We Boomers court the notion of trying to regain something we’ve abanoned. The Olympics always heighten this notion. And our awareness of youthfulness and dreaming impossible dreams, well, spikes.

How important is having a goal? Oh my gosh, this is such a ridiculous question! No professional would ever say it’s stupid to have important goals. Yet, to my sense of observation, most people walk around like exercise, healthy eating, rest, and overall wellness are chores to be avoided and shunned, not a “professional” responsibility.

How important is focus?

fool

my son and i both laughed at this museum exhibit

How important is focus? I hate to ask simple questions with seemingly obvious answers, but seriously, it doesn’t seem like most folks get it. I used to be one of those folks.
