Eat like you’re in training for an athletic competition

desserts
For someone in training, this is garbage in, garbage out.

If you ask me what is the top secret for eating balanced nutrition, here’s what i’ll tell you…

Eat like you’re in training for an athletic competition.

If you’ve never trained for a physical accomplishment, this is going to seem foreign. i hope this changes for you soon. If you have trained before, then you get it intuitively.

Food is fuel, not pleasure.

Eat like you mean it…like your day (and your life) depends on it.

Does your life, longterm, depend on this?

Eat what you want whenever you want

Orlando motivational speaker
What if you can eat whenever you are hungry? Snack as much as you want. Is it possible?

Eat what you want whenever you want.

Snack on these things in between meals…

Fruits.

Vegetables.

Nuts.

What if literally, everything we ate had no more than five ingredients?

Enough already, stop

Enough of the poor eating. Take a stand. Eliminate poor foods. For good. Photo from Twitter yesterday.

In two more clicks you’ll be at jungle jeff – the work blog – and when you get there you’ll see a post more closely themed to here, Lane 8.

The reason the content is there and not here is simple.

While i compartmentalize mind-body-spirit-work-hq in five distinct website blogs, the reality is quite compelling – everything we do influences everything else we do.

Meanwhile, this morning’s thought here is this: i’m eating like i mean it to improve my health.

Which is the paradox of “diets to lose weight to be more healthy”. Diets require unattractive restrictions, unnatural eating habits, avoidance of certain foods you have loved eating your entire life, like sweets.

i gave up processed sugar but i did not give up sweets.

What the?

Fresh fruits.

i eat a ton of it, daily.

Health is wealth (blah, blah, blah)

Health is wealth, but it’s so inconvenient to achieve.

Video sent to me…almost didn’t watch it because i thought it would be a waste of time.

i was wrong.
