One man’s treasure is another’s trash

One man’s treasure is another’s trash.

Blogging (writing) has always helped people self-reflect and process important life aspects that otherwise get lost in a busy, noisy world.

This 2008 post shares the vision from the very beginning.

Living past 60 became one of five “life to-do’s”, set down in writing in that 2008 post.

Why?

No male on my Dad’s side has lived past 60.

While this is a treasured endeavor for me, it’s ridiculous for others.

Simply an ordinary moment in time – a photo that will never win any contests.

Yesterday’s exercise was purely spiritual.

It was an incredible workout for the entire Family.

i’m fascinated by the physical results of setting a 10-year deadline

i’m fascinated by the physical results of setting a 10-year deadline.

My 40th High School reunion is in a month.

A room full of 58-year-olds.

Intentional about still weighing what i weighed at graduation.

While certain muscles aren’t as strong as they used to be, others (core) are the strongest they’ve ever been.

Ever.

These results fascinate me.

Live like you mean it every single day?

Living like you mean it is one of those streams of thought that rarely crosses our mind because we are busy carving out a life.

What if living like you mean it was actually how we spent our days?

If it was, it might look like the ordinary Monday i had yesterday. Two hours of writing, then a run to Magic Kingdom and back, before resuming the work day.
