You will do what’s sensible

Praying you believe in yourself, and you find what you need.

Waiting and doing nothing is a common option. Tried them both. Doesn’t work.

Be yourself

colorful umbrellas at the beach
What kid wears a shirt at the beach? Note: not talking about SPF shirts. Those didn’t exist in the 1960s.

Be yourself.

You grew up in small town America.

Well, actually, you grew up outside small town America, in a subdivision of 24 homes.

Summers were your favorite Pennsylvania season.

Why?

Because you loved the heat.

And you loved being barefoot and shirtless as a kid.

Free.

Spirited.

You are no different now. Except for barefoot. Your chronic foot pain requires constantly wearing shoes.

Have you ever seen a 60-something dude living a shirtless life?

Just a little extra

Been teaching our son (now 19) the Disney Way since he learned to talk.

Just a little extra effort.

A ridiculously easy target to hit.

No training required.

Intuitive framework.

Applies to personal life automatically and instantaneously.

And of course, applies to your physical wellness.

Small, seemingly insignificant details and habits that snowball over a lifetime.

Change motivation

.think .differently about change motivation.

Change motivation:

  1. You want to be an example not a warning
  2. You are disgusted with your excuses
  3. Money, fear, or fame motivate you

Sunrise is good for your health

Today’s post are being written on a two-hour family beach-walk.

Every morning begins at 5:00 AM: i’m a zealot for awakening well before sunrise.

Being a night person or a morning person doesn’t matter.

What matters is that you are living your best life.

Humans have evolved as daytime creatures, seeking shelter from the darkness and avoidance from predators of the night.

Convenience, entertainment, and scalable protection (housing) have allowed humans to modify their personal rhythm.

Trust yourself as you learn what promotes your vibrancy and what hinders it.

i’ve always been a morning person.

When i was younger, i used to stay up for it.
