Doctor my eyes

Scaleable ideas are practical and effective.

Doctor my eyes.

That’s the song playing now as i type this.

First heard it when it released in 1972 and watched it become a hit.

Doctor, my eyes…

Tell me what is wrong…

The body keeps the score

Quest diagnostics blood tests
The body keeps score. Regularly look at your score card.

Michelle, the 8am masseuse, shared she is reading a book, The Body Keeps the Score. This book is about all types of trauma, from PTSD to childhood abuse from a parent. From insane asylums to severe accidents. Michelle is working to perfect her “art”. She wants to excel at healing body-stress through touch.

Remarkably, she rated my body tension as low.

USATF membership stickers
Never use these stickers, but enjoy a quiet satisfaction knowing that being a lifelong member is one of a million ways i use to stay motivated to move well, eat well, and rest well.

Nervous about tomorrow’s mammogram and ultrasound test results?

First time ever

hand-written notes on a post it note
First appointment at closest Hospital is 2.5 weeks from now. Raquel found an appointment further away but it’s in four days.

Mammogram and ultrasound in a few days.

Waited four weeks for swelling to disappear. Hasn’t happened.

No known injury. No pain.

But somethin’ ain’t right.

After six decades, the tipping point has been reached. You can and should continue to exercise rigorously. Just remember that your equipment is well worn. You must get smarter at working out hard. This is new territory.
